Definition of H.O.T.

So what is your idea of hot?

It could be the weather. Right now in PA, it is about 86 degrees, yes it has been hotter but wow, the humidity is up there pretty good.  I'm in and out so I feel the difference when I go from my luxury geo thermal cooling system to the outdoor heat.

This is me today.  Just sitting on my deck in the shade.  This is in between cleaning indoors and taking a break and reading outdoors - 50 Shades of Grey. So technically, I'm Shading it today.

Nice way to spend the day. My inner Goddess was calling my name and I had to take a break.

So 86 degrees isn't so bad, so what would you consider hot?

If you are talking about H.O.T. as in Damon Salvatore, a Vampire Hottie in The Vampire Diaries, then you definitely have my vote there.  What could possible be better and hotter than Ian Somerhalder you may ask? How about if Ian Somerhalder was to play Christian Grey in a 50 Shades of Grey movie?  Can we all say OMG together? Check out the article below his dreamy pic. If only it were true... Awe.... *drool*.

Of course my hubby will still always be part of my definition of H.O.T. too, isn't that right, baby?

I hope  you all enjoy your idea of H.O.T. today.  Now back to my Shading it up and envisioning my Christian a.k.a Ian.

Feature and Follow Friday

Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

Question: If you could “unread” a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?
I myself loved the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning. I would love to start over and relive each book from the start. They were really that good.  I don’t know if I could pick just one from the series. They are so intertwined that it just wouldn’t be fair to leave one out.

I can’t honestly say there was ever a book that I read that would make me want to gouge my eyes out or anything like that or curse the hours I wasted on the darn book.

Where does the time go?

Wow, it's amazing how time flies when you are older.  I remember back in my grade school days and the summers would last forever.  I could go non-stop morning to night and have time to fit all the chores, friends, games and play in.

It is already June 23rd, and half of 2012 is over. Summer may have officially started Wednesday but I always considered June, July and August as summer. Now amazingly enough June is almost over.

I wish I could chalk it all up into having fun - you know the saying - time flies when you are having fun. I actually think it's because I'm getting older. I move slower and there is just too darn much stuff to do in the life of an adult.

Basically it takes me longer to get stuff done and the motivation I need hits me like a slow-release capsule, only a little at a time. Or maybe it's the darn computer that sucks me into the World
Wide Web and before I know it 2 hours have already depleted from my day.

Maybe the reason is my kindle that calls for me to finish my current read from a wonderful author or even my house with its never ending duty of housework chores that beckons me to get up from my lazy bum and start.

Whenever the reasoning, it still happens just the same.  Days seem to keep getting shorter, months blink us by and years dwindle effortlessly without realization.

I'll continue on trekking through the everyday grind of life, enjoying every fleeting moment, every minute spent with family and friends, work on making my dreams come true, and loving like there is no tomorrow.  Maybe with these little pieces of joy will help me get through my fleeting Life with its inevitable detours and bumps along the way.

*Let's make that 2 1/2 hours now on the computer*

Boost a Book Party

Emily Casey is having a Book a Boost party.  Her website is www.emilycasey.com. It is a chance to win books as well as help authors with getting their books tagged and reviewed.

I never realized how important it was to actually write a review on a book that I have read.  It really does help an author get their book noticed. I also never realized how important it was to tag a book. Honestly, I can't say that I even knew what tagging was until I saw her website.

I have a mission now to make sure I write a review for each and every book that I read.  I want to make sure I help the author out more than just reading their hard work.

Did I also mention that Emily used my review as an example on your website?  How exciting is that! Does it make me famous? Maybe not, but it sure does make me feel good.

Please take the time to stop by her website and check out the books that are being given away! And all you hard working authors, especially self-published, I will make every effort to get started on my reviews and tags.
