Hair Tips with or without products along with Giveaway!

Did you know that hair typically grows 1/2” to 1” a month? 
That’s only if it’s healthy and without split ends. 

Check out some great hair tips to optimize hair health and growth with or without additional products noted below! 

1)  Get your hair trimmed regularly.  I know it sounds like it defeats the purpose but by getting the dry, dead, split ends trimmed, it will encourage less breakage.  Your hair will remain strong as it continues to grow.

2) Always use a Conditioner when you wash your hair. Overtime hair starts to get thinner at the bottom of your strands due to excessive heat and styling tools. By using conditioner, you can replace lost and needed nutrients as well as help keep your hair stronger and healthier as it continues to grow.

3) Don’t shampoo every day.  Your hair only needs to be washed to remove the dirt and product build-up. Shampooing can also remove some of your natural oils that keep your hair shiny and strong. It’s highly suggested to use a dry shampoo in between your shampooing days.

4) Cold rinse your hair before getting out of the shower.  It doesn’t need to be a long blast of cool water, just enough to coat your hair.  This will help keep your hair smooth and retain some of its moisture.  Over time this will be a huge benefit.

5) Apply an oil or masque once a week to damp hair and leave on for 10 minutes and shampoo out.  This will give your hair a little extra TLC.  Have you ever thought how old the bottom of your hair actually is?  Why not pamper yourself.

6) Towel wrap your hair with a soft, thin micro-fiber towel.  The larger the towel, the more chances your hair may break from getting caught in the thickness of the towel.

7) It’s recommended to use a wet brush. This will also help with breakage by detangling your damp hair first.
