Screenplay update

I'm not sure if you're familiar with Screenplays or not but Screenplays are vastly different than an novel.

One minute on the big screen in approximately 1 page of your screenplay.
There are special formats that a screenplay needs to follow. Although I never went to college to be a writer or screenplay (I chose a degree in Paralegal Studies instead...unfortunately...lol), I have read several books as well as invested in a screenplay writing program.  Mine is Final Draft.

I'm pretty excited.  I started this screenplay several years ago but then got into novel writing.  The screenplay has been reworked several times but never entirely finished.  This time around I'm at 25 pages.  My goal is 90 pages for an 1 1/2 film.  Although I expect several edits will need to be made once it is purchased and optioned to become an actual film.  It is also expected that the screenplay may be purchased and never actually be made into a film.  I'm ok with that but I really would love to see my name on an actual film project.

I don't live in California nor am I involved in any way with the film industries, however, I have friends of friends so you never know.  That's usually the hardest part, I know.  I heard it's easier to get your foot in the door if you know somebody.  So I'm making friends left and right.  I'm connecting and helping all the while working on my very first Screenplay.

I'm still a writer at heart but having always wanted to inspire for something more, this is where my dreams are taking me...  First I have to finished my Screenplay.

Thus I'm throwing it out to the world that I am 25 pages in.  Whoohoo!

Tell me...
What is your favorite movie genre?

I'm currently hosting a Vision Board Virtual Workshop if you're interested.  This is a great way for you to get to know me more and allow me to help you gain some visual motivation for your own dreams and goals by creating your very own vision board. I'm super excited to decide to do this.  I have had several Vision Boards throughout my life.  In my opinion, I believe it has really helped me with becoming a writer, starting my own business, and finishing my screenplay.  I'm all about helping others and I really feel I can help inspire you to make your goals and dreams manifest into existence with making your very own vision board.

Affirmation for the day:  I create it! I see it often! I ordain it! I manifest it and I myself achieve it!
