Scrolling Sunday Find!

In my constant internet browsing, I tend to come across amazing things.

1st thing that caught my eye this morning...

The Tick may be coming back again - only to Amazon. Can I get a Woot! Woot!

Ok, I know it's silly but my husband & I just finished watching the series last night on Netflix. Both of us mentioned that we couldn't believe it hadn't lasted longer than 9 episodes.  Yes, they are corny and silly but that is exactly what the Tick was all about.  Plus with the TV series, the adult humor had us laughing so much we started coughing. (Now keep in mind we love MST and campy B rated movies and anything SyFy
originated.)

The cast consisted of:
Patrick Warburton as the Tick
David Burke as Arthur
Liz Vassey as Captain Liberty
Nestor Carbonel as Batmanuel

It looks like Patrick Warburton is on board if the project is a go but I'm really hoping all four of the original characters climb on soon.  I'm not sure it would be the same if they replace the characters with new casting. I'm alright if they have new casting as new superhero side kicks. I can't wait to hear if it's official.

The TV series, if you want to call it that, only last 9 episodes and ran from 2001-2002 based on the carton TV series that lasted 3 full seasons from 1994-1997. (Yes, we have these on DVD's and have watched them several times.)

My fingers are crossed...

My top 5 list of Amazon's Best Kindle Books of 2014 (so far) under $5

I love Amazon.  No if's, and's or but's, Amazon is my most online shopping store.  From Organic Loose Leaf Gunmetal Green tea that we run through our Keurig, to Dr. Bronner's Organic Liquid soap (Citrus Orange, my favorite) that we use daily,  and lets not forget books, books and more books. Plus with my prime membership, I get free shipping in 2 days time.  Many of the prices at Amazon are far less that the shops around my hometown, not always but on many occasions it's down by dollars!

Organic Loose Leaf Gunmetal Green Tea
Dr. Bronner's Liquid Soap - Best price I've found at Amazon.

My secret is saving stuff into my Amazon Cart and checking it daily should items fluctuate enough in price that will have me buying something that I wouldn't necessarily pay the full price for originally. Very smart Amazon!!! Very sneaky too!! But I have saved big money by waiting.

Now on to my top 5 list of Amazon's best kindle books under $5.  This is my top 5 that I have compiled off of Amazon's site.  The price may have fluctuated by the time you have read this post, so please don't hold me to it but at the time I compiled this list, all were under $5.

#1) The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
(Do you ever notice how fast a book and how long a book lasts on the top ten lists when they are made into a movie?)
#2) Divergent by Veronica Roth
(Again, this one was also made into a movie.)

#3) 12 Years a Slave by Solomon Northup
(Again, this one was also made into a movie.)
ON SALE for .99!

#4) A Shade of Vampire by Bella Forest
ON SALE for .99!!

#5) If I Stay by Gayle Forman
(Again, this one is being made into a movie too.)

99 Cent Bundles of Oh My - I Got To Get Me Some...

It seems like there is a craze out there where authors are pooling together and lumping their work into to bundle packages.  This is a great way to get started into their series plus a great advertising package.  The package deals can range from 5 to 12 books with 5-12 different authors.  Some books, being a starter book of a particular series, will either tempt you into getting the next book in the series or just keep you moving on to the next book of the bundle package.  Others are Novellas showcasing authors that you may eventually want to read other books by them. Either way you are getting a great price and great value. Take a look at some of the great finds I have found.

Just click on any of the above box sets to find out the Book Titles, list of authors, and book descriptions.  I hope you enjoy these great finds!
